The SV 104 personal sound exposure meter is built for occupational hearing conservation programs, providing continuous near-ear monitoring throughout an entire work shift. It features a patented ½" MEMS microphone with a lifetime warranty, an OLED display, and three simultaneous parallel measurement profiles with selectable exchange rates (2–6 dB). Anti-misuse protection via a built-in tri-axial accelerometer detects bumps and handling events, ensuring data integrity. Optional octave-band analysis (1/1 and 1/3-octave) and audio recording expand its capability for detailed task-based assessments and post-change surveys. With over 40 hours of battery life and 8 GB of memory, it is well-suited for manufacturing, construction, mining, and logistics applications.
