TSI QuestTemp 32/34/36 Heat Stress Monitors

The TSI QuestTemp 32/34/36 heat stress monitors are portable instruments designed to quickly and accurately assess potential heat stress environments. They use Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) index detection technology, the standard for heat stress management, and calculate a WBGT index value that considers the effects of ambient air temperature, humidity, airflow (providing an evaporative cooling effect to the body), and radiant heat from sources such as the sun, ovens, furnaces, and boilers.

Main Features:

  • Measures WBGT, temperature, humidity, and radiant heat: Provides a comprehensive picture of the heat stress environment.
  • Audible and visual alarms: Alerts workers to potential heat stress hazards.
  • Data logger: Records historical data for analysis.
  • Easy-to-use software: Allows for monitor setup, data analysis, and report generation.
  • Available in three models: The QT-32 is basic, the QT-34 adds alarms, and the QT-36 adds a data logger.

Applications:

  • Industrial environments: Manufacturing plants, warehouses, foundries, etc.
  • Outdoor environments: Construction, agriculture, utilities, etc.
  • Sports and recreational environments: Sports fields, gyms, amusement parks, etc.
  • Other applications: Any environment where workers may be exposed to heat stress.

Benefits:

  • Improves workplace safety: By identifying and controlling heat stress hazards, it can help prevent heat-related illnesses, injuries, and even death.
  • Increases productivity: Comfortable workers are more productive workers.
  • Reduces costs: Costs associated with heat-related illnesses can be significant. Using a heat stress monitor can help you reduce these costs.
