SVAN 958A

The SVAN 958A is a versatile Class 1 four-channel sound and vibration meter designed for professionals requiring simultaneous multi-channel analysis. Each of its four independent input channels can be configured for sound or vibration measurement, supporting real-time FFT, octave band (1/1 and 1/3), and cross-spectral analysis. The instrument covers a broad frequency range of 0.5 Hz to 20 kHz for sound and is fully compliant with IEC 61672-1:2013, ISO 8041:2017, and ISO 20816-1. It is well-suited for environmental and occupational noise, building acoustics (airborne and impact sound insulation per ISO 16283), building and ground vibration (PPV per DIN 4150-3 / BS 7385-2), machine vibration monitoring, and hand-arm / whole-body vibration assessment. With internal data storage, USB and RS232 connectivity, and over 10 hours of battery life on 4xAA cells, the SVAN 958A is engineered for demanding field and laboratory use.
