Aerocet 380 by Met One Instruments: Portable Dust Monitor

The Aerocet 380 is a portable dust monitor developed by Met One Instruments, which uses front scatter laser light technology to offer real-time total suspended particle (TSP) concentrations in the air. It is ideal for sampling in any workplace or indoor public location, with optional separators to monitor PM1, PM2.5, or PM10.

Main Features:

  • Optical Sensor: Met One's front scatter laser light technology provides exceptionally wide particle size detection. The Aerocet 380 has an ultra-low detection limit of 0.1 microns and a particle sensitivity of 1.0 µg/m3, with a unit detection range of 0 to 100,000 µg/m3. The continuous flow optical sensor is combined with purge air to ensure accurate measurements in a wide range of environments without performance degradation.
  • High Portability: This sleek all-in-one aluminum desktop instrument provides continuous sampling with an AC adapter or 8 hours with batteries that fully recharge in under 3 hours. The user-friendly interface of the Aerocet 380 comes with easily accessible Wi-Fi downloadable utility software. User-adjustable sampling times include 1, 5, 10, 15, 30-minute, and 1-hour intervals, making it easy to profile environments in various applications. Ideal for long-term or remote sampling, a large screen makes viewing easy from across the room.
  • Easy to Use: Two buttons and a rotary dial provide easy access to menu-based setup and sampling. The Aerocet 380 offers selectable sampling modes of µg/m3 or mg/m3 and alphanumeric location IDs, giving the user the ability to identify a unique name for a sampling location or area. This dust monitor can store up to 15,000 sample records that can be easily accessed on-screen or downloaded to a computer with the included utility software.
